people who want to start an international career. The Academic Scholar Program
is aimed at researchers who wish to do postdoctoral work abroad. Six grants are
awarded, totaling $70,000 per year, to be spent as you wish. As it is not a
doctoral course, there is no monthly fee. Students who have not yet defended
their thesis but have completed their PhD can also apply, but in this case the
scholarship is worth $35,000 per year.
2 - Adelaide International
Scholarship (Australia)
The University of Adelaide, in partnership with the
Australian Government, offers the Adelaide Scholarship International (ASI)
program to attract high-achieving international students to advance
postgraduate research at the university. The scholarship covers tuition, an
annual living allowance and health insurance. Applicants from any country (except
New Zealand) can apply for this scholarship.
3 - Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship
(Netherlands)
As the name suggests, the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship
is aimed at students with outstanding academic achievements. Awarded annually
in 2014, it covers the costs of the Master of Communication at the University
of Amsterdam and the cost of living in the city of 25,000 euros per year. The

by the Australian Government to international students enrolled or
unconditionally accepted at the University of Sydney for one of its Masters or
PhD programs. The total value of the scholarship is divided into 35 thousand
Australian dollars per year and can reach up to 124 thousand dollars. The

5 - CAPES Sandwich PhD Scholarship

government itself. The Coordination of Professional Development in Higher
Education (CAPES) offers scholarships for sandwich doctoral degrees anywhere in

6- British Chain Scholarship (UK)
Chevening Scholarships are part of the global UK Government

part-time Masters or PhD students. The good news is that if you are enrolled at
a university during the selection period, your application is automatically
considered. On the other hand, the Clarendon Foundation Scholarship is not only

8 - Masters Scholarship Program ETH
Zurich (Switzerland)

according to the QS World University Rankings. The university offers full
scholarships to students who wish to pursue a master's degree at this
institution. In the case of the ETH scholarship program, the number of
scholarships varies according to the budget, but grants are distributed annually
to domestic and international students.
9 - Fulbright International Student
Program (USA)
The Fulbright International Student Program is a prestigious

13 - Government of Japan (MEXT) Young
Leaders Program (Japan)
If your dream is to study in Japan, the MEXT Scholarship for
Young Leaders is right for you. This scholarship is awarded annually by the
Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and can be used

for each university faculty.
15 - KUT PhD Scholarships in
Engineering for International Students (Japan)
The KUT PhD Scholarship in Engineering for International
Students was established in 2003 to encourage international engineering
students to pursue a PhD at Kochi University of Technology. You must have good
academic performance and be under 35 years of age to apply for scholarships and
travel scholarships, tuition fees and free tuition at KUT.
16 - Lester B. Pearson International
Scholarship Program at the University of Toronto (Canada).
The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program at
the University of Toronto in Canada aims to recognize international students
who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and creativity and are
recognized as leaders in secondary schools. The scholarship covers tuition

17 - Oxford Rhodes University

The Maastricht University Scholarship Foundation offers 24
scholarships every year to Master's students who want to study at the
university. The grant is 29,000 euros per year, even including visa fees.
