For a small country like Switzerland, openness and exchange are essential for a prosperous, peaceful, and sustainable future. The scholarship is about the free exchange of ideas in all areas of knowledge. Young and ambitious talents from abroad receive public grants to conduct research at Swiss universities. Federal Excellence Scholarships are part of the federal government's international strategy for education, research, and innovation (ERI).
These will enable Switzerland to gain international prominence and serve as a major player in the ERI. The State Office of Education, Research, and Innovation recruit the best young scientists from around the world. Scholarships are available for ambitious Ph.D. students and postdocs, and talented art students about to complete their first master's degree. Diplomacy plays an important role.

FAFSA SCHOLARSHIP


The scholarship is open to nationals of countries that maintain diplomatic relations with Switzerland. Like any developed country, Switzerland has reciprocal rules regarding the awarding of scholarships. Swiss embassies in more than 180 countries provide information on grants and accept applications directly. When applying for a scholarship, all applicants must prove that they have a supervisor at their chosen host university in Switzerland.

Therefore, all applications must include a letter of support from a visiting professor in Switzerland, a research project, a resume, and a cover letter. Applicants and academic advisors form a team for the entire duration of the scholarship. The Federal Committee for Foreign Students Scholarships (FCS) is made up of 16 members from Swiss universities. The Commission awards scholarships annually during the competition.

There is a quota for each geographic region. 90% of scholarships go to researchers and 10% to humanities students. The main selection criteria are the applicant's profile and motivation, the scientific value of the research project, and the suitability of the host institution. The top 20% of applicants will receive her ESKAS scholarship. Our scholarships enable scholarship holders to advance their careers, expand their professional networks, and improve their scientific knowledge and methodological skills. They promote young talent around the world and strengthen international cooperation. About 400 scholarships are offered each year. Research-based scholarships:
Research-based scholarships are available to postgraduate students in all disciplines. Students who plan to come to Switzerland for research or education at the doctoral or postdoc level. 4,444 research grants were awarded for research or research at all Swiss cantonal universities, colleges of technology, two Federal Institutes of Technology, and her four research institutes.
ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
The Arts Scholarship is intended for art students who wish to pursue a master's degree in Switzerland.
